At FERRUM D. Gentile we offer you to take either private or small-group lessons in an ancient craft or if you prefer modern machining.
There will be regular classes limited to up to four students held at regular intervals on various topics throughout the year. However should you prefer to get individual, private teachings in a field of your choice - contact us. Classes can be held in either german or english at the same prices.

Classes can and will be held also on weekends and during afterwork hours. Our facilities offers a sound-proofed forging area and a powerful hydraulic forging press, allowing us to even make patternwelded steels well after nightfall.
For individual classes we can work out a matching schedule.

Pricing for individual classes for one single student:
Single days (8 hours): 230 CHF / day including basic materials and lunch.
that pricing will be for classes up to 10 days - if you plan to take longer classes please contact us for an individual quote.
If you organize to come in a small group of your own - group pricing is available.
If you're a student or in a tight financial spot we can give you a bit of a discount - but please bear in mind that the company is small and forging is not a cheap work - discounts are possible - but only with certain situations.
What are the requirements, payments & some more details:
- To attend you must be at least 14 years of age (if you're not yet 16 we will need a written consent of your legal guardian)
- Physically fit (you don't need to be sporty... but forging is physical work in a hot environment)
- Payments have to be either made in advance or latest at the first day of the class. (For long classes, partial payments are possible upon request)
